Hi, my name is Chris. I am a professional animator and have worked in some of Canada’s leading animation studios. Almost all of my work has been for animated TV series, although I have done some work in TV/DVD movies and Visual Effects.
I decided to pursue a career in animation in the early 1990′s and was formally trained in a three year program where I learned classical and digital animation. I have worked professionally in both.
After working as an animator on several projects I worked as a Lead Animator, Animation Supervisor, and finally an Animation Director on a Gemini Award winning series. (The Gemini Awards recognize Canadian Television Achievements).
I created Animation Career Pro to help people who are interested in animation as a career by offering tips, insights, information and training based on my industry experience.
